Type animation, 2000

Typographic animation for the Centers for IBM e-business Innovation, a division of IBM that was spun up at the height of the dot-com boom. This one-minute video piece asks prospective IBM clients to rethink their assumptions related to e-business. I wrote custom OpenGL and C++ software to create the sequences in this video. The custom typeface made from horizontal bars, echoing Paul Rand’s logo for IBM, was designed by Jens Gelhaar. This piece was created for IBM with a team at Imaginary Forces.
